Hello one and all,
Welcome to 2016! Hope you have all had an amazing time off over the Christmas and new year period!
Its been great to see people post and email about the miniatures they have received. Sadly its not all been perfect going. While to models have blown away expectations, there has been a slight technical glitch.
So first bit of bad news...
It came to light that some people have been getting wrong items in the boxes. We have looked into the issue and identified what has happened.
On Backerkit (the pledge manager you all filled in) there has been an error with SKU codes, this has only affected the purchase of Addons for:
Bravo Fire Team
Charlie Fire Team
Armadillo support Mech
Any of these purchased has led to Alpha fire teams appearing on the packing list, and thus what you have received in your parcels. Now we want to right this, its only right that we do. We have a list of the affected people, and shall be emailing them direct to resolve the issue. So please, if you have or havent contacted us, please just hang fire so we can sort out the best way to sort the issue. We know the people that are affected, Just need to sort out who is owed what and how we shall make it right.
Second little bad news...
It has also come to light that a few people have been getting broken rifle barrels and some instances, broken Talos antenna. Sadly this is a design error on our behalf, and its made the slightly more delicate that we were hoping. The resin still flexes, but too much force could snap it. We sadly can not replace broken barrels. If you do have breakages, we would advise using super glue to fix them. The resin will bond so well it.
Final bit of bad news... Then some good news
It was our intention to open the the web store on the 1st January 2016. This was pushed back until the 11th January 2016 so that even more of the site could filled with content and some of the workings in the admin area could be done for better search engine optimisation (SEO). Now sadly we are not going to open today on the 11th. And its for some good new (YAY) as will be listed below. But ive added some pictures of the web store here for you all to see whats coming!
So onwards to the good news!!!
Web store postage
Well, the reason the web store is too be delayed is so that the shipping courier we shall be using will change. We did plan to use Royal mail, this was a costly option, but was one of the only ones open for us to use. But just today I've had a meeting with a shipping company who can offer some seriously competitive shipping rates for around the world tracked.
So we want to pass these savings onto you the customer. We are just awaiting our account getting set up with them, and in that time changing our shipping on the web store admin area to reflect the changes.

So we are working the amazing The Lazy Forger to make some truely outstanding 15mm scenery for the battlefield. Below is a WIP of one of the first buildings.

Well I think that pretty much sums it all up for you amazing backers. The parcels were all packed up in to the boxes, labelled up and now are in the hands of Mantic Games to ship them out to you all. We used Mantic Games as they have handled so many Kickstarters that they have ran over the years, but also good competitive prices for shipping it worldwide.
So first up, all the boxes lined up and packed.

So there we have it guys and girls, they will be shipped so very soon. I shall update backerkit when the parcels are confirmed and this should send you an email too.
So what's next, we over the Christmas period the webstore will be prepared and all going well, launched on the 1st January 2016. So all the models will be available on retail then. Then its pressing ever onwards with the preperations for the space combat game (loads of good stuff to come) and our biggest show, Salute!
Were almost there now, I hope you all enjoy the models when they arrive!
